Privacy Policy

In plain terms: the only personal information we collect right now is the email address you give us to join the waitlist (plus a little basic technical data). We use it to let you know when Paige is ready. We don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

This policy explains how Paige ("Paige", "we", "us") handles information on our website at text-paige.com (the "Site"). Paige is currently a pre-launch product; this policy covers the marketing Site and the waitlist. We'll update it before the full Paige product launches.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit. That's it — we don't ask for your name, phone number, or anything else.

Information collected automatically. When you submit the waitlist form, we also record the page you signed up from, a shortened version of your browser's user-agent string, and the date and time, to help us understand and protect the signup process. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first: it does not use cookies and does not collect personal data — only aggregate, anonymized usage (like page views and load times).

Fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts. To serve them, Google may receive your IP address as part of the request.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we set no cookies of our own.

How we use your information

• To contact you about the Paige waitlist and to let you know when Paige becomes available.
• To understand how the Site is used, so we can improve it.
• To protect the Site and prevent abuse of the signup form.

We will not use your email for unrelated marketing, and we won't share it for anyone else's marketing.

Legal basis (EEA/UK)

If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, our legal basis for processing your email is your consent, given when you join the waitlist. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to remove you (see "Your choices").

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do rely on a few service providers who process data on our behalf, only to run the Site:

• Cloudflare — hosts the Site, stores waitlist signups, and provides privacy-first analytics.
• Google Fonts — serves the Site's fonts.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Data retention

We keep your waitlist email until Paige launches and we've invited you, until you ask us to remove it, or until we decide not to proceed with the waitlist — whichever comes first.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have additional rights, including the right to deletion and the right not to have your information sold — and we don't sell it. To exercise any of these, just email us at [email protected] and we'll take care of it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and we collect as little as possible. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.

International visitors

Paige operates from the United States, and our service providers operate globally. By using the Site or joining the waitlist, you understand your information may be processed in the United States and other countries.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
